ABOUT ME
Introduction
​
Every journey in beauty and aesthetics begins with a story. Mine began with a personal struggle with Acne Vulgaris—a condition that affects not only the skin but also confidence and well-being. This experience sparked a lifelong passion for understanding skin health and treating it holistically, from the inside out.
My professional journey began in 1995, when I qualified in CIDESCO, CIBTAC, and ITEC Level 3. Soon after, I opened my first business, unaware that it would mark the beginning of a 30-year career dedicated to advanced skin care and aesthetics.
By 2003, my interest expanded beyond the skin’s surface into nutrition and lifestyle medicine, recognising the powerful connection between internal health and skin function. This led me to become one of Ireland’s early educators in aesthetic treatments, teaching modalities such as Skin Peels, Microdermabrasion, Microneedling, and Microblading.
In 2010, during a challenging economic climate, I founded Saffron Rouge—a business built on resilience, integrity, and a commitment to results-driven skin care. Along the way, I became a skincare ambassador, trainer, and distributor for Glyskincare (now Novaclear), a respected brand addressing over 40 different skin conditions

My pursuit of excellence continued with further qualifications in ITEC Levels 4, 5, and 6, specialising in Chemical Peels, Tattoo Removal, Mesotherapy, and Plasma Pen treatments. Advancing into Aesthetic Nursing, I developed expertise in advanced procedures including Chemical Peels, Dermal Fillers, and Microsclerotherapy, all of which I continue to practise and teach today.

In 2018, I was appointed Beauty Editor for RSVP Magazine, where I share expert insight on skin health, aesthetics, and industry trends. This work was recognised in 2023, when I was honoured with Best Skincare Professional at the RSVP Awards.
My academic journey also led me to Dnipro Medical Institute in Ukraine, where I completed two years of medical studies before the war forced an unexpected pause. Despite this, my academic achievements enabled me to reach another milestone—graduating from University College Dublin’s Charles Institute of Dermatology in 2024.
Most recently, I have gained approval as a national trainer for Lemonbottle and Lipolax Fat Dissolving treatments. With CPD accreditation, I am proud to mentor and educate the next generation of aesthetic professionals, continuing my commitment to innovation, education, and excellence in skin health.
